2014
Idée fixe is my BFA thesis project from 2014, depicting human identity and consumerism as famous brands or a product has consumed the person, resulting in deformed and grotesque figures. The photographs are purposefully shown as advertisements and each has a logo, playing on the concept of branding and the importance of the person to become part of the brand. It is a dark satire with a simple message: "Do you consume it or does it consume you?"
